Why we built Neural Automate
Neural Automate started with a problem Fahad saw over and over again: healthcare practices were running on systems built for a different era.
With over 10 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst at Loblaws and Amphenol, Fahad specialized in process optimization and marketing operations — helping large organizations streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and scale efficiently. At Loblaws, he led a process redesign that reduced supply chain fulfillment time by 22%, saving the division over $4 million annually. At Amphenol, he built data-driven marketing dashboards that increased lead conversion rates by 35% within six months.
But when he looked at healthcare — dental clinics, PT practices, family medicine offices — the gap was staggering.
“I kept seeing the same thing: brilliant clinicians running practices on manual processes, fragmented systems, and reactive communication,” Fahad says. “They were losing revenue, burning out staff, and missing opportunities to connect with patients — not because they weren't working hard, but because the systems weren't working for them.”
The breaking point came during a conversation with a family medicine practice owner who was losing over $15,000 a month to unfilled cancellations and missed follow-ups. The clinic had no way to automatically fill empty slots or re-engage patients who had dropped off. The front desk was overwhelmed, and patients were falling through the cracks.
That's when Fahad realized that healthcare needed the same modern methods that retail and manufacturing had adopted years ago. Not just better EHRs — but intelligent automation that worked alongside existing systems, handling the busywork so clinicians could focus on care.
So he built Neural Automate. The platform automates waitlist fills, recall reminders, after-hours communication, and intake workflows — giving practices the efficiency of modern technology without the complexity of an overhaul.
